I thoroughly enjoyed the half-day Barista Course. It built on my knowledge and took it to the next level. The chance to be taught how to use a commercial machine by somebody as knowledgeable, interested and able as Ruth was invaluable. I would recommend anybody who has a serious interest in coffee to do a course like this and I would recommend that they do it at Limini. Thanks for a great experience/ - Ed

This course was awesome! I came with a vague interest in coffee but a strong interest in managing a coffee shop. I came away with a new-found respect for the coffee making business (and having drunk the best coffee I remember having!), and a very detailed understanding of what I need to do next. I wanted simply to learn more about the drink I've loved for years but frustrated with what I could make at home. I had a fantastic time learning and came away so much better educated and passionate about great coffee €“ and the whys and how to make it. The course covers all the bases for anyone planning or running a coffee shop and provides a comprehensive checklist of all the things a coffee shop owner should know and be reminded of regularly. The barista training was good for arming any coffee shop owner with essential knowledge and skills to do the work expected and provided a welcome offset to the theoretical part of the course. The trainers (I had Ruth but also saw Vicky in action) are knowledgeable and infectiously enthusiastic, and you come away feeling properly prepped. Limini also provides refresher courses as well as staff training when you are ready to start up your business and take the machinery from them. Highly recommended! - Joseph

The coffee at Limini was amazing and the course itself was brilliant just what we wanted. Ruth was lovely and answered all questions and encouraged them even when I thought they might be silly. The whole day was very well structured and there was plenty of opportunity to discuss all aspects and have a go on the different machines. I throughly enjoyed the day and would encourage others to go along and have its of fun and learn. The excitement it gave me to keep pursuing my vision is undeniable. I had a fantastic time with Ruth for my Latte Art Course! She answered all of my questions and guided me through the procedure each step of the way, hanging back at times to make sure I didn't feel rushed or crowded. A definite boon to my barista skills and confidence with handling all of the shiny bits! :) Highly recommended. - Kurt

I recently went on the Limini Coffee course and really enjoyd my time there. Vicki the trainer was very friendy and informative throughout the day and was very weelcoming when i arrived. The group was small and we each had a machine to work on. The day was very practical and hands on and we were more often on the machines than not. The skillls I learnt as a complete novice to working with coffee will hopefully become useful in the future and is a good insight into how coffee works. A reall enjoyable day! - Elliott
