I got up at 3 in the morning to get to Sheffield on time-but it was worth it! We had brilliant time in the roastery, with Youri explaining the basic principles of processing coffee beans and using the grinder and coffee mashine, showing us how to produce and recognize good expresso, steam milk, customize the setting of the coffee mashine and the grinder, and how to put all these elements together to make a delicious cup of coffee (with latte art on top of all that:). Plus, we got to see the inside of the roastery with Youri as our guide, learnt a lot about roasting process-and had a chance to drink more luscious coffee, tead and chocolate than you can imagine^^i wholeheartedly recommend the course! We spent a whole day with Youri, learning about coffee, discussing ideas for our coffee shop, tasting different coffee, tea and hot chocolate, learning to work the espresso machine, how to steam milk, making latte art... The list could go on, our day was so full. Both the people at the Roastery and Youri were helpful, enthusiastic and great fun to work with. We will definitely be keeping in touch with them, and working with them in future. We recommend anyone who wants to know about coffee, buy coffee, or work as a barista to give Youri a call. I completely agree with the review by paul below. I came away from the training today absolutely buzzing - not from the inconceivable amount of coffee i drunk, but through having an extremely useful, informative and thoroughly enjoyable time. I secretly thought i knew a lot about making coffee, but was taught so much by youri and as the other reviews show, this was delivered with pure passion and enthusiasm. this course will definately help me in my future career and i would recommend it to anyone (even if you think you know it all).Can't thank you enough :D I completely agree with the review by paul below. I have just got back from attending one of Youris Barrista courses and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. Youris passion was clear to see, he really does know his stuff when it comes to all things coffee. I recently had a great day of one-to-one training at Limini coffee. As I arrived, I was immediately impressed by the enthusiasm of both Youri and Howard. Despite using espresso machines at home for many years, I can't believe how much I've learnt in the space of a day. I'd thoroughly recommend this to anyone passionate about making good coffee! I am in the planning stage of opening a coffee shop and have booked all three courses with Limini coffee, the barista, latte art and consultancy course. What is really special here is that not only do you get exceptionally high quality training to cover just about everything and more you need to know, but you also get this comfortable homey feeling as soon as you enter their premises. Youri makes sure you get the most out of it and will answer all of your questions, no matter how many you have. I was also very impressed by the freshness and taste of their coffee and even if you did prefer a different blend, then their expertise and flexibility will get you what your are looking for ...absolutely superb! It has taken me a week or two to write up a review for Youri, because what can I say that has not already been said? I am looking to start up a new business that will heavily revolve around Coffee and I had no experience in this field what so ever. This is not normally a good starting point, so I have contacted a number of people with a view to change this. Out of the several different people and companies I contacted. So far only Youri has come back to me with any meaningful response. He has spent a fair amount of time giving me lots of advice and invited me to attend one of his Limini Coffee's Barista Training Courses. When you meet someone who is this passionate about their product you know that you are in safe hands. Youri's no nonsense teaching is very informative, simple, easy to understand, interesting and fun. You will be encouraged to ask as many questions as you like (thanks for your patience!).The one day course was a thoroughly enjoyable day with lots of hands on experience.
