A wonderful course, explained in easy to understand terms. This is a great way to learn how to pour the perfect cup of coffee and learn an understanding of how the bean is grown, harvested and ultimately makes it to the cup. Lee Taylor

Youri is very knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. The course is dense and packed with a lot of practical issues about how to make a good coffee and lots of hands on practice.I would highly recommend this course to understand the basics about coffee beans, all the practical issues to make a good coffee (including milk fluffing), and a lot of hands on practice. I took a Barista course and was lucky enough to have one-on-one training with a very friendly and welcoming Youri. I am only a home enthusiast and it was great for me. Youri showed the enthusiasm for coffee you would hope for and really knows his beans. We went through Espresso and how small changes can effect the taste. Then we looked at frothing milk correctly using water and washing up liquid! Then we get to combining the too and creating latte art. Youri lets you get stuck in and try everything. Only issue now is that I know my home machine is not up to the job. I would highly recommend this course. I think as last resort after having run out of ideas for a Christmas present for me, my wife bought me a Barista training course with Youri. What a Christmas present it turned out to be! Having arrived a little late due to snow and traffic, to be greeted with warmth and a fabulous coffee told me I would be in for a great day. I wasn't disappointed. Youri was very encouraging, helpful and friendly, allowing vast amounts of practise. Although my latte art is clearly not up to Youri's standards, I feel confident that with a little more practise I will be able to impress friends and family with my new skills (I might even attempt the teddy bear!).The coffee tasted fabulous and will make going out for a coffee a tricky business for me now I know how it should/can be done.The only down side for me is knowing that I will now have to buy a new coffee machine as my ageing Krups is clearly nowhere near up to the mark. Thanks to Youri for a great day and opening my eyes to coffee at its best. Outstandingly helpful !Youri puts you at ease as soon as you arrive with his warmth, and enthusiasm for coffee and and the culture.With a refreshing approach and wealth of information it's not long before you are making all thing coffee like a pro. I took a Latte Art course (after recieving it as a Christmas present). We found the whole session thoroughly informative and enjoyable. Youri's knowledge, expertise and sense of humour is oustanding. His instruction on producing a quality foam, to techniques for the different designs meant I left producing Latte Art far better than I expected to. Thanks for a brilliant time - Daniel (and Carole - who loved tasting my many attempts!) PS - your own blended roast was the best flavour we've ever tasted- mmmmmmm!! My partner and I had a wonderful Valentine's Barista training session at Limini Coffee last Sunday in Halifax. Our trainer, Youri, was very friendly and taught us all about the coffee making process with infectious enthusiasm and good humour. After a very interesting talk-through on the lifecycle of coffee from the bean to the cup we got stuck in and started making our first espressos. Due to Youri's very clear instruction and explanation on what makes a great espresso, we were pulling great shots in no time at all, with all our handiwork captured on Youri's camera! Once Youri was happy that we had a good grasp of pulling consistent shots, we moved on to milk based drinks and were both delighted with the results we were getting. The day finished with us giving a good deal of time trying to perfect our Latte Art hearts...very appropriate for the day that was in it! We would thoroughly recommend the Barista training course to anyone who has an interest in learning how to make wonderful coffee.Thank you again, - Cian & Niamh

I enjoyed the Barista training very much and I found Youri to be very friendly and informative in all aspects of coffee making.He made the process very easy to understand in a professional, yet light hearted manner which made learning and understanding easy.
