After 25 years of buying and cupping coffee for one of the UK's leading roasters, I decided my barista knowledge was far too limited. Attending a course with Limini has changed all that. Within four hours I was confidently pulling great shots, creating amazing micro-foamed milk and almost presentable hearts on my lattes! The informal atmosphere coupled with excellent instructions from the tutor (in this case it was Stu) made for a perfect training session in which I learnt a lot more than expected. Thanks a million. A great introduction to the art of coffee and the science of the coffee business. Youri and Stewart were both excellent.

I had been given the Barista training course as a birthday gift from my family - although I only have a simple Gaggia home machine. No problem! There were 4 of us on the course and the experience of learning the art of coffee making on a professional machine was something I could only have dreamed of. Youri and Stu were patient and fun and took us through all the elements from beans to ground to cup - with emphasis on correct milk steaming! Fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble and I even got to check my own grinder setting against the mighty machines! In the afternoon i went on to the latte art course. Just 2 of us this time - which meant we had so much time to practise with Stu patiently guiding. Lots of fun and all I need now is more practise, practise, practise. We attended a private 1-day course, and enjoyed every minute. It provided us with the knowledge and know-how on the steps to setting up and running a successful business, positives, negatives, encouraging yet realistic. The private course was wonderful because we could really concentrate on our individual project, Youri & Stu adapted the time efficiently to allow time to be spent on the areas we were most concerned about. And last but not least...the coffee...wow!! fantastic!! Youri and Stu were professional yet and captivating instructors and we hope to see them again soon when we set up shop! I attended the 2 day how to set up a coffee shop course: The course was excellent, I've worked with coffee for 10 years and what I learned there in 2 days really surprised me. A great insight into the whole bean to cup process and they teach great methods to ensure you get the best from your coffee, milk and machine! Day 2 was all about the business set up, location, number crunching and highly important the flow and design of your shop. There were lots Of things Youri and Stu pointed out which were vital in getting the most out of a customer each time they visit your shop. No matter how long you have worked with coffee i would thoroughly reccomend this course. Youri, Stu Thanks for help David

We've just been to the Barista Training course recently and wow it was a trip that we will never forget. The training provided by Youri and Stu was amazing and thorough , compact yet easy to digest. It certainly gives us a lot more indept information and knowledge on coffee and of being a barista. It is a very well versed course and also suitable to beginners or home enthusiast. Thanks to Youri, and too Stu too, I now know I want to pursue a career as a barista. Having took a one day barista and latte art course, I have learnt more than I could of just by trial and error. Youri's great enthusiasm and most definite patience when practicing latte art made the day a delight and the hours just flew by. I didn't actually want it to end. Everyone is friendly, and a great professional set up ensured for a wonderful day. When I want any advice, then Limini is he place I will look towards. I'm a few months away from opening my an artisan coffee shop and needed to gain a good understanding of 'what I didn't know' about the coffee industry and to demystify the world of Barista. Having been in business for over 25 years, it was important for me to find a company that would adapt and meet my needs without pretension and self adulation. Youri, Stu, Bex and Sam, all impressed me with their relaxed, professional approach and commitment to offering the best service possible. It was a good team effort. The course was comprehensive and met my needs totally and worth the 700 mile round trip!!! The highlight for me getting a clear understanding of what I didn't know and in many areas then filling that knowledge gap there and then. The approach of explaining the theory, demonstrating the theory and then practical application, left me feeling far more informed. A thoroughly enjoyable day. Thank you - David
